Parker Duofold Craft of Traveling fountain pen

Parker launches a limited Parker Duofold fountain pen in honor of its 130th anniversary. The theme is "The Craft of Traveling" in tribute to founder George S. Parker and his many world travels.

George S. Parker was a telegraph operator in Janesville, Wisconsin, with a sideline repairing and selling fountain pens. In 1888 he founded the Parker Pen Company, this fact is now celebrated with the limited edition of 1300 unique Duofold fountain pens.

Holder and cap are made of solid brass, the holder is provided with a laser-engraved world map and finished with dark blue lacquer. The cap features circular motifs depicting the meridians seen from the poles, all other fittings are gilded. The clip cap is decorated with a 2 carat lapis lazuli semi-precious stone, engraved all around with the text: "Parker 130 Years Around the World". The 18 karat bi-color gold nib has an engraving of a compass.

Special attention has been paid to the packaging, the pen comes in a luxurious vintage case with space for a special ink bottle. Below the plateau is the certificate, an extensive brochure and a box of cartridges. On the inside of the lid is a world map with all the places marked by George S. Parker. Edition of 1300 pcs.
