The Pelikan Souverän M600 black fountain pen is the middle size in the Souverän range. The fountain pen is filled by means of a fixed piston mechanism, standard with the entire Souverän series. This model is a little smaller than the M800 and a fraction larger than the M400. Nevertheless, the pen is most similar in weight to the smaller Pelikan, the M400... The barrel and cap are made of black precious resin, the barrel also has an ink window. The nib is made of 14 karat gold with a rhodium mask. The familiar clip, in the shape of a pelican's beak, is gold-plated, as are the other fittings.
