The Century model line is Cross's most classic collection. The Century model was designed in 1946 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Cross. New variants and finishes appear every year.
In 1996 the Century collection was partly restyled, the most important change was that the cap of all these Century models got a slightly wider diameter. These slightly thicker models were named "Century II", the thinner model remained in most variations and from that moment on was called the "Classic Century".
This black variant is available as a ballpoint pen or mechanical pencil and is available separately or as a set. The pens have a titanium sandblasted barrel with a PVD finish. The grip piece is provided with a finely knurled part for extra grip.
