Graf von Faber-Castell Heritage Alexander fountain pen
Item no: GVFC-156372
The Heritage Limited Edition(1898 pieces) pays tribute to Ottilie and Count Alexander von Faber-Castell, both responsible for the expansion and renovation of the Faber-Castell castle at the beginning of the 20th century. The impressive design of the boudoir and study, in particular the use of color , have served as a guideline for this limited collection.
The study with the leather armchairs and the imposing desk with a green leather inlaid desktop, is one of the most beautiful rooms in the castle. Count Alexander always had a view of the factory buildings from the window. The introduction of the Castell 9000 pencil in the green color of his regiment in 1905 proved a great success. The pencil, which is still an essential part of the Faber-Castell collection, is still distinguished by an excellent price / quality ratio, in addition, this classic was the inspiration for the finely engraved green lacquered barrel of the limited Alexander fountain pen.
The fountain pen is proportionally almost the same as the Classic series, however, it is made of solid silver with a hexagonal barrel that is provided with a beautiful guilloche, over which a durable green lacquer has been applied. The cap sleeve is fluted to the clip and the end has two hammered rings. The top of the cap is laser engraved with the monogram of Alexander & amp; Ottilie with their initials A & amp; O and the family name F & amp; C. On the silver barrel end the name of the collection is engraved Limited Edition Heritage "with the unique number of the pen below. 1898 pieces were made referring to the year in which Ottilie and Alexander married. The pen is equipped with an 18 krt. golden bi-color nib and can be filled with cartridges or with the supplied converter.Of course this pen comes in a nice gift box with brochure and certificate..
