This year's Heritage collection is inspired by stationery from the Montblanc archives from the 1920s and 1930s. This was a time when the history of ancient Egypt and its discoveries fascinated Europe. In principle, this was mainly due to the decipherment of the hieroglyphic script by Jean-François Champollion in 1822. However, Howard Carter's discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922 caused a true Egyptomania in Europe.

In line with their predecessors, the frame shape is octagonal and all pens have a retro clip decorated with a scarab, the symbol of the human heart and immortality. The engraving on the cap, Montblanc in hieroglyphs "white stone mountain", recalls the passion for Egyptian culture in the 1920s.

Heritage Egyptomania Resin has an octagonal black precious resin cap and barrel with authentic hieroglyphs, vintage gold-plated fittings and a 14K gold nib with an embossed scarab.

The collection consists of two editions, each available as a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and roller pen.

We expect to have these pens available soon.
