Montblanc Great Characters James Dean ballpoint pen. The barrel and cap of this James Dean Special Edition are made of red precious resin referring to the red jacket that Dean wore in his second movie "Rebel without a Cause".
The fine guilloche on the pin refers to the texture of his denim jeans that Dean preferred to wear in films and beyond.
All fittings are platinum coated, except for the clip, which has a ruthenium finish and is designed as if it were a double-barreled rifle, referring to the action scenes as Jett Rink in the 1956 movie "Giant", also his last role. On the side of the cap is a round platinum plated inlay styled in the shape of a bullet. On the clip cap is an engraving of a dollar bill referring to an iconic scene from "East of Eden" from 1955.
