When the exclusive fountain pen 'Rouge et Noir' was developed in 1906, it was considered an exceptional technical achievement, guaranteeing easy operation without having to dip the nib into an inkwell. The Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir celebrates Montblanc's 110-year-old pioneering spirit.

The pen reinterprets the legendary writing instrument with a longer, slimmer silhouette, modern piston filling technology, and craftsmanship refined over generations. The holder of the exclusive fountain pen is made of black precious lacquer combined with a black precious resin cap. The snake-shaped clip has a vintage look and matching fittings. The clip is manufactured through a stamping and winding process in a special metal alloy and is aged through a unique galvanic and stripping process.
