The Graf von Faber-Castell Tamitio, unlike many other Graf products, features a metal barrel, making this collection stand out immediately as it feels slightly heavier in the hand. The fluted barrel resembles many other Faber collections. In the Tamitio, this barrel is coated multiple times with a durable matte lacquer. The cap is smooth with a trumpet-shaped end and has a rhodium finish, just like the other fittings, and features a spring-loaded clip.
The fountain pen comes with a rhodium-plated steel nib and can be filled with cartridges or the included converter. In addition to the fountain pen, the Tamitio is also available as a ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil, rollerball, or fineliner.
