Lamy 2000 fountain pen black. Many technical problems had to be overcome, such as the production of the solid stainless steel clip and the"sanded"finish of both the plastic (macrolon) and the metal. This was a complicated procedure that made each LAMY 2000 fountain pen different from the others in detail. It took time for the international market to get used to the new look of this LAMY 2000 fountain pen.

Each fountain pen has a 14K gold nib and a fixed piston mechanism.

The appearance of the matching ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil and four-colour ballpoint pen brought the ultimate breakthrough, in 2006 the matching roller model (finally) appeared.
