Lamy Lx Gold Rollerball

The Lamy Lx Rollerball (pronounced "Luxe") is made of anodized ruthenium-colored aluminum with a matching ruthenium-coated clip and a translucent triangular grip. The Lamy Lx rollerball comes in a matching ruthenium-colored aluminum case. Designed by Wolfgang Fabian.

Former Parker employee, C. Josef Lamy founded the family business in 1930. Lamy writing instruments are known for their design and functionality. In 1966, when Dr. Manfred Lamy became director, Lamy focused on the German Bauhaus movement (Ikea draws on the same ideals). This proved to be a resounding success, symbolized by the Lamy 2000 after 50 years.
