Montblanc Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Classique fountain pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The Classique Fountain Pen in anthracite precious resin is based on the second part of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. The main characters travel in this part of the adventure on a majestic elephant, which is depicted in a cartouche on the cap.

The clip features a red lacquered diamond suit, and the cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewelry and the card suits, symbolizing Mr. Fogg's wager to complete the journey in 80 days. The top of the cap is engraved with the length of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total. The writing instrument is finished with a handmade 14-carat gold nib, adorned with the hot air balloon and 20/10 and 14/11: Mr. Fogg departs Bombay on October 20th at 8:00 PM and Yokohama on November 14th at 6:00 PM.
