This model, the Capless, has a fully rhodium-plated fluted barrel. The Pilot Capless is a standard collection model, so not a limited edition.
The Capless is available in different colours, with gold-plated or rhodium-plated fittings (clip, rings and rear cap). Internally the technique is as from the beginning, the nibs are made of 18 kt gold available in fine, medium and broad. A small cap at the nib ensures that the nib is stored airtight when not in use and prevents it from drying out.
The Pilot Capless is the only one of its kind, a pen that"behaves"mechanically like a ballpoint, but turns out to be an excellent fountain pen. A fountain pen that causes a sensation, because of its appearance and in particular because of the surprising technique.
The Capless can be filled with Pilot ink cartridges or with the included converter and comes in a stylish gift box.
